Rudolph Brown of Maryland

Rudolph Brown a minister and son of Rudolph Brown Sr., from
Pennsylvania settled in Brownsville, Maryland and established the
first Brethren Church of Brownsville,Maryland.

Two of his children sons Abraham and Samuel moved from Brownsville,
Maryland to area of Shenandoah County, Virginia now Warren County,
Virginia. Many from this area of Warren County Virginia left in the
migration and settlement of the West as did the Brown family.
Included in this book are Sixty-six letters to a brother Hezekiah
Brown at Brownsville, Warren County, Virginia and from children and
friends when Abraham and Samuel left the area. Abraham doesn't last
long and is buried at a farm near Parkersburg, West Virginia. Samuel
Brown Sr., and his family return to Brownsville, Maryland
The Jennings family is prominent in this family and the Browns married
Jennings women.
